Residential garage door manufacturer Clopay is exhibiting its largest-ever collection of contemporary garage doors in booth S1806 at the 2017 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Orlando January 10 – 12.
New products include the Canyon Ridge® Modern Series faux wood garage doors constructed from a high-performance, low-maintenance, composite material that won’t rot, warp, or crack.
As versatile and realistic-looking as natural wood but requiring far less upkeep, the customizable door designs feature key elements of contemporary architecture: clean, horizontal lines with Mid–century appeal, sleek window packages, and aluminum accents.
Depending on the grain and stain finish, these faux wood doors are a perfect complement to other natural elements on a home’s exterior.
The energy-efficient, two-inch thick polyurethane foam insulated garage doors are available in Clear Cypress or Mahogany cladding with a choice of three stain colors or a painted white finish. Sizes range from 6’2” up to 20’2” wide in heights up to 10’. The Canyon Ridge Modern Series will be available in February.
With the International Builders’ Show’s return to Florida this year, storm-ready products are top of mind. Clopay’s Modern Steel Collection garage door is one of several on display that proves designers don’t have to sacrifice style to meet strict residential building codes.
The insulated grooved and flush panel designs can be customized with a number of impact-rated decorative glass options for a fresh, edgy feel.
Reinforced full view glass doors and doors with windows down one side have Florida and Miami-Dade product approvals, opening up new possibilities for integrating the garage into contemporary coastal home exteriors.
Clopay will also highlight its Canyon Ridge® Collection Limited Edition Series faux wood carriage house garage door, alongside entry doors from its Craftsman and Smooth Fiberglass Collections.
A plantation style, louvered Reserve® Wood Collection garage door featured on the 2017 New American Remodeled Home by Phil Kean Designs will be on display to demonstrate Clopay’s limitless custom door capabilities.
In addition to the doors in its booth, Clopay garage doors can be seen on several IBS show homes open for tours during the show including the BUILDER NEXTadventure home, the 2017 New American Home, and the 2017 New American Remodeled Home.
