Clopay’s imagineNATION Makeover Contest will continue through the end of 2021, giving homeowners and residential door dealers more chances for free publicity and a chance to win a cash prize.

Eligible homeowners who have replaced their garage door or entry door can submit before and after photos for a chance to win $1,000. Dealers who install the door(s) on a winning entry receive $250.

Clopay launched the contest four years ago to promote the impact a new garage door or entry door has on a home's curb appeal.

“We have seen a spike in entries this year as people focused their energy on home improvement while travel and other activities were limited,” said Clopay’s vice president of marketing Pat Lohse. “Whether it’s curb appeal or converting the garage into extra living space to accommodate distance learning, remote work, or recreation, homeowners are getting creative and we want to keep the inspiration going.”

Clopay’s imagineNATION Makeover Contest is open to residents of the 50 continental United States and Canada exclusive of the Province of Quebec, who are at least 18 years of age.

A panel of judges selects one winning makeover each month. Once an entry is received, it stays in the selection pool for the duration of the contest. There is no need to re-enter.

Marketing materials including imagineNATION Makeover Contest promo cards, a radio spot, and website graphics are available on the Clopay dealer portal to help sales representatives and installation techs promote the contest and encourage their customers to enter.

Before and after photos must be submitted by the homeowner for consideration. Clopay employees, dealers, retailers, suppliers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
