On a mission to maximize the Mid-Century modern design elements on this California ranch home, these homeowners started by updating the main exterior focal point – the garage door. They replaced the outdated steel model with Clopay’s contemporary Avante Collection glass garage door.
Going from solid steel to a translucent glass door may seem like a bold move, but the San Diego couple actually had an Avante door on their former home and absolutely loved it.
Next steps in their exterior master makeover plan include new paint, light fixtures and house numbers.
