Optimistic energy filled the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center as builders, architects and designers flocked to booths flocked to booths in search of innovative products and ideas for greenlit projects during the 2023 International Builders’ Show (IBS) held Jan. 31 through Feb. 2.

For those who enjoy mixing patterns and textures with a burst of color, custom vignettes abound in this year’s booth with a Canyon Ridge Louver door painted dark green, a Reserve® Wood custom three panel door in a natural stain finish and Clopay’s new Avante® aluminum and glass garage door in Black with clear glass. The Sleek model offers builders and architects a garage door with extra wide horizontal windows and no vertical stiles for plenty of daylight and expansive views.
Coming this spring, the new Avante Sleek has wide narrow windows and no center stile on door sizes up to 10’2” wide.
Four-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves signed autographs in the Clopay booth to celebrate Clopay’s second year as the official garage door sponsor of the Meyer Shank Racing IndyCar team.
A Slate Rustic Collection double entry door and a new Modern Fir fiberglass door in a Medium stain finish with full vision direct set glass sidelites in a painted Mocha frame rounded out the exhibit.
Double entry doors are a popular choice for new home builders looking for opportunities to create a grand entrance filled with plenty of natural light. The Rustic model complements several Canyon Ridge residential garage door designs.
